The global purchasing organisation of RHI Refractories is responsible for an annual purchasing volume of approximately 550 Mill. Euro.

The Corporate Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing Centre is located in the RHI Refractories Technology Centre Leoben (Austria) with decentralized Purchasing Departments at most RHI-production sites.

Raw materials, energy, telecommunication, investment goods, travel management, commodities, packaging material and consulting services are at the Corporate Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing Centre`s responsibility, while "plant-specific" products and services within a certain value limit are purchased locally by the decentralized Purchasing Departments.
