Integrated Management System

The management systems for quality, environmental protection, and industrial safety and health protection are combined in an integrated management system. The basic goals of this fusion were to simplify processes, to create clear-cut structures and responsibilities both in terms of structural organisation and workflow management, and thus significantly improve legal certainty in all organisational units.

The focus of the Integrated Management System is on constant optimisation of quality-relevant processes and ongoing development of quality-related infrastructure. All RHI sites are certified to ISO 9001:2000.

RHI Quality Management is based at Leoben Technology Centre and performs the following tasks:

- global responsibility for implementing and ensuring unified quality standards

- expert administration of quality management of all sites

- conception and introduction of a unified, demand-based testing methodology

- planning and control of internal and external audits for quality, environment and industrial safety

- handling and evaluating customer complaints

- organisation and implementation of quality improvement programmes
