| RHI holds opening speech at the main cement trade fair in China 05/02/2007 |

The 8th International of the Cement Industry Exhibition was held in Peking, China from 24 April to 26 April 2007.
Mr. Marco Olszewsky, General Manager Sales P.R.C., had to honour to hold the opening speech together with the Chairman of the China Cement Association, Mr. Lei Qianzhi. The Chinese Cement Association thus honoured the long-standing cooperation with RHI and its engagement in the Chinese cement market.
High-ranking industry representatives such as the Vice Chairman of the China Cement Association, Mr. Zeng Xuemin, the Vice Chairman of China Building Materials Industry Association, Mr. Chen Guoging, the Vice Director Counsellors`Office of the State Council, Mr. Jiang Minglin, CEO P.R.C. of Lafarge Group Mr. Wen Ying Wu and the President of Holcim, Mr. Tom Clough, took part in the opening ceremony.
This annual trade fair is an excellent platform to strengthen existing contacts and form new ones, as well as to professionally present new products and technologies to a large clientele.
On the occasion of the International Cement Conference, which was held at the same time, Dr. Brian Guo, (responsible for Research & Development in Dalian) talked about “Refractory Development and Magnesia-Hercynite Bricks for Cement Rotary Kilns”.
With an annual two-digit economic growth, the Chinese market plays a very important role for RHI AG.
